The Food, Service and the Atmosphere/Views were out of this World!! The Owner was so accommodating and sat us by the window so we'd have a Beautiful view of the Lake....Little Green Lake. Such a Sweetheart she is!!! A Wonderful experience all around!! We each had the 3 piece Cod Dinner that was done to perfection!! We will definitely be back again!!
Stopped for dinner on Thursday. Nice place. Clean, good service, good prices, great food, beautiful view especially at sunset. I gave a 4 for atmosphere because there was a group of regulars who were having a good time, which is great, but the language would make a sailor blush. Go before 5 and you will be good.

This was our first time here. We stopped to check it out when we saw a restaurant on Little Green Lake! So glad we did! Shanda is the owner and she is so warm and friendly.....We just wanted to hang out with her all afternoon! I ordered a Reuben and it was the best one I’ve ever had in my life! My parents had the cod fish fry and said it was awesome! Good coleslaw too! In addition to the great food, we enjoyed sitting at a window table viewing the beautiful lake just outside! This place is a gem! Would love to come back sometime and be here during sunset! We’ll definitely be back!
Wife had all you can eat shrimp and I had all you can eat smelt, was very good and had a beautiful view of the lake. The service was very good. Recommend it very much.
What a delight. Great food and prices that were family friendly. View was majestic. Shanda was a great host and seemed to know how to make each customer smile. Reminds me of our water restaurants here in Florida. But no alligators Lastly, clean restrooms which is important to my wife.

We stayed away from Lakeview for many YEARS due to a bad reputation with a previous owner. Let me tell you all: THIS RESTAURANT IS THE MOST AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCE ANYWHERE AROUND!!!! We had the fish fry for the first time tonight... NOBODY does a plate of food like thisI THE plate, as always, is heaped with food! Gigantic pieces of delicious cod and potato wedges. All you can eat for very little. Nobody prepares a meal the way these people do! The prices are extremely reasonable. The food is quite plentiful and absolutely delicious! The servers are top notch, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. We've found our new favorite restaurant and it's right here in Markesan! If you haven't tried it out yet, please do yourself a favor and GET OVER THERE!!
